West End Projection

was a celebration of new media technologies that were presented on April 29th, 2023. Max spearheaded the installation, curation, and presentation of Massart's newly created west-end lobby rear projection windows. He was tasked with building a cohesive body of student work while also meshing together two other Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) based events through moving and still images. Those events were “Art for the Year 2173” and the naming dedication for the “Ross and Harris Barron Immersive Design Room”. Max was also given the opportunity to speak alongside the current MassArt president Marry Grant and Professor Nita Sturiale in which he spoke on the importance of Immersive Art and Design.
