Morris Worm formed out of the minds of audio-visual duo Max Ryan and Owen Greenfield. Together this A/V duo trys to understand what it means to be a performer taking on the shape of “The Fork Collapse”
“The Fork Collapse” aims to analyze the consumption, reliance, and stimulation of media through the exposure of media’s tendencies of overstimulation, algorithms, and unpredictable nature. By eroding and displacing live video content and using strings of generative code Morris Worm curates the sounds and visuals in real-time to create a performance built around their bittersweet connection to media. Focusing on the self-aware contradictions of creating in today's creative climate, Worm breaks the norms of what is traditionally presented in a concert setting by being at the mercy of spontaneity and unpredictability.
