Zac Rea, going by Bad News at the Doorstep at the time of the project, came together to collaborate with Max on a pop-up show in Evans Way. Using SIM equipment Max threw together

a small team of four students and brought Zac and his friends out to a bench in Evan Way park.

Max’s goal was to sonically and visually enhance the busking that Zac traditionally does in the Boston area with minimal light work and a projection setup. Zac played for an hour and during the duration of his performance, Max’s visuals became more and more present. Max’s footage paid homage to Zac’s Boston-inspired songs and distorted footage of Evans' way presenting it as a visual loop. Max coordinated outreach and communication with Zac and his fellow peers along with marketing the event in the area.
